Abstract

In April 2025, there was y-on-y inflation in Gorontalo Regency of 3.15% with a CPI of 111.15.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index of several expenditure groups, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.69%; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.30%; the health group by 1.97%; the transportation group by 0.72%; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.36%; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 1.45%; the education group by 0.54%; and the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.64%; and the personal care and other services group by 0.85%. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: the clothing and footwear group by 0.05%; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.82%.
