Development of Gorontalo Regency Consumer Prices Index May 2025

• In May 2025, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Gorontalo Regency of 0.23 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.41. 
• Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index of several expenditure groups, namely: Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel Group by 0.31 percent; Health Group by 1.75 percent; Transportation Group by 0.63 percent; Information, Communication, and Financial Services Group by 0.78 percent; Recreation, Sports, and Culture Group by 2.69 percent; Education Group by 0.54 percent; Food and Beverage Provision/Restaurant Group by 3.14 percent; Personal Care and Other Services Group by 1.71 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in index were: Food, Beverages and Tobacco Group by 0.09 percent; Clothing and Footwear Group by 0.31 percent; Household Equipment, Tools and Routine Maintenance Group by 4.93 percent.
