Abstract

In March 2025, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Gorontalo Regency was 2.56% with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.86.
Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the index of several expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 6.54%; clothing and footwear group by 0.40%; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 0.85%; health group by 1.95%; transportation group by 1.03%; information, communication and financial services group by 0.78%; recreation, sports and culture group by 1.21%; education group by 0.54%; and food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 2.64%; and personal care and other services group by 0.62%. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index were: housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 7.41%.
The m-to-m inflation rate of Gorontalo Regency in March 2025 was 3.42% and the y-to-d inflation rate was 1.82%.
