Internship Opportunity at BPS Gorontalo as Kemnaker Opens Second Batch Registration
September 3, 2026 | Other Activities
BPS Gorontalo Regency — For university graduates seeking their first work experience, an opportunity has now opened at the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Gorontalo Regency. Together with the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), the agency has once again opened the University Graduate Internship Program, known as MagangHub, this time entering its second batch. Registration runs from 3 to 8 September 2026.
Unlike the previous batch, which offered thousands of quotas nationally, at the Gorontalo Regency level, BPS is only providing three quota across two positions. Two of these are allocated for the Assistant Statistician position, while the remaining quota is for Assistant Archivist.
The MagangHub program is more than just an ordinary internship scheme. It emerged from the government's concern over the high unemployment rate among university graduates, which according to BPS data had surpassed one million people. Through this program, participants are not merely placed as temporary workers, but are also equipped with real work experience under the guidance of a mentor, complete with a monthly allowance equivalent to the regional minimum wage and protection under BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employment Social Security).
For prospective applicants, the entire registration process is conducted online through maganghub.kemnaker.go.id. Before being able to select the available openings at BPS Gorontalo Regency, applicants are first required to have a SIAPkerja account as a basic administrative requirement.
With this opportunity reopened, BPS Gorontalo Regency hopes to continue serving as a learning space for Gorontalo's younger generation, while also contributing to the national effort to reduce the unemployment rate among university graduates.
